Hemant is a professionally trained photographer, mentored under the guidance of internationally honoured and practicing photographer Shri. Vinay Parelkar ARPS (UK), AFIAP (Belgium), FFIP (India). Beyond photography, he is also trained in Devanagari calligraphy under the guidance of Shri Achyut Palav, India’s eminent calligrapher and Padma Shri awardee. His journey across India reflects his passion for capturing the nation’s rich diversity, with his wildlife and landscape work showcased at prestigious art galleries which include P.L.Deshpande Art Gallery, Nehru Art Centre in Mumbai and Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan, Mahabaleshwar.

Beyond his work in landscapes and wildlife, he has captured a variety of events—from weddings to the Mumbai Marathon. His versatility and skill earned him a feature on NDTV’s Band Baajaa as one of Mumbai’s foremost event photographers.

Driven by a passion for sharing his expertise, Hemant has conducted image authoring/editing sessions at several technical institutes, training more than 700 students.

He is also deeply committed to nature conservation, awareness initiatives and supporting local communities.
