Photography at National Park
![]()
Again a weekend holiday. Thinking what to do? So finally decided to go to National Park which is also called as Sanjay Gandhi National Park. This national park is one of the very few, perhaps the only one of its kind that is situated so close to Mumbai city.
This rich and diverse forest holds more than thousand species of plants, and a large species of mammals, birds, migratory, land and water birds, reptiles, and amphibians besides a large variety of fishes, insects and other life forms. The animal population consists mainly of panther, leopard, Sambar (deer) spotted deer, wild boar, mongoose, civet cat, jungle cat, Languars, monkeys Macaques, etc.
The main thrill for me was the Tiger and Lion Safari. This safari takes you from the two zones one is the Tiger and the other is the Lion zone. Since the rains are just getting over the forest is flooded with creepers and rich greenery. The natural vegetation of the park also influences the climate of the city in a big way.

Love and Respect the nature, wild animals and other creatures and try to preserve and respect our historical monuments.
Macromedia Studio 8 Launch
![]()
Once again Macromedia came out with a new release of Studio 8 which offers designers and developers a new level of expressiveness, efficiency and simplified workflow to create websites, interactive experiences and mobile content. This launch event was held at J.W. Marriott Hotel, Mumbai on 2nd September. But this time we had speakers directly from the company itself like Mike Downey (Product Manager for Flash), Jennifer Taylor (Product Manager for Dreamweaver) and Jim Guerard (VP, Product Management & Marketing). They all explained the new feature of Studio 8. It was indeed a good presentation given by them. The two and half hour presentation really covered many new features of Studio 8. The end of the launch was as usual with a lucky draw which was won by two girls and followed by a HiTea and networking.
